I understand and agree with eLearn Canada College as follows:

If you are under the age of majority in your province, you must have your parent’s or guardian’s permission to enroll.

During normal office hours (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) we attempt to process all course enrollments within 24 hours of you completing your registration. Outside of office hours we process all enrollments within 48 hours of you completing your registration.

Security:

Your Credit Card payment will be handled securely by using the industry standard SSL protocol to ensure no-one else can intercept your details. We take pride in the high level of security that we offer when handling your personal data. To ensure that your details are handled in the safest way possible, we encrypt all data that you send to us using a 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Terms and Conditions

General

The student acknowledges and agrees that the provision of the Course and the Course materials is the sole responsibility of the Course Provider.

The student agrees to comply with the Course Provider’s requirements.

The Course Provider agrees to provide the student with the Course in accordance with the syllabus and the prospectus.

Waiver

None of the conditions or provisions of this Agreement shall be held to have been waived by either party, except by an instrument in writing signed by a duly authorized officer or representative of each party. The waiver by either party of any right hereunder or the failure to enforce at any time any of the provisions of this Agreement, or any rights with respect thereto, shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any other rights hereunder or any breach or failure of performance of the other party.

Other Terms

Students who do not access their account for a period of 2 years and require an Account re-set, there will be an $80.00 Reinstatement Fee.

If at our discretion we afford you any relaxation of these terms, this shall in no way affect our rights under these terms and conditions.
You are required to notify us in writing at the address given above of any changes to your postal address.

Copyright

All copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to the course materials are either owned by or licensed to us. Copying, adaptation or any other use of all or any part of it without our express permission is strictly prohibited.

Transferring Course

We retain the sole discretion concerning whether a course may be transferred from you to a third party. We will treat all justifiable requests as compassionately as possible.

If we agree to allow you to transfer to another course, the total fees paid towards the discontinued course will be offset against the cost of the new course. However we will require that if the new course is more expensive than the discontinued course, the balance should be paid in full and there will be a standard $80.00 CAD transfer fee.

Refund

There is no refund after the student has received access information for their course.

If the cancelation request has been made before the student has received access information for their course, we will retain a Registration Fee of $75.00 CAD.

Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal information secure. We will not disclose your details to any person, unless you have given your consent or we are compelled to do so by law, or in response to a valid, legally compliant request by any law enforcement agency or government authority.

Privacy Policy:

eLearn Canada College collects your personal information that is set out in this Agreement in order to administer and operate the eLearn Canada College courses, and you consent to such collection and to the use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with eLearn Canada College Privacy Policy and as follows:

The information will be used to register you in the appropriate course and to monitor your academic progress. It will also be used to issue Diplomas/Certificates, as applicable, and to keep you informed about eLearn Canada College course updates and other products and services that may be of interest to you. The information will be retained by eLearn Canada College in accordance with applicable law and good practices. If you have any concerns, questions, or requests about the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information, please contact eLearn Canada College at the contact information set forth on the top page of the Agreement.

NOTICE TO GUARANTOR

You are being asked to guarantee payment to eLearn Canada College for the tuition and fees of the student who is under the age of majority. Think carefully before you do so. Be sure you can afford to pay, and that you want to accept responsibility.
I understand that if my Enrollment Agreement is not accepted by eLearn Canada College, I will be entitled to receive a refund of the amount paid to the College.
I understand that eLearn Canada College provide vocational career courses and is prohibited from guaranteeing a position to any student or prospective student. Students wishing to receive credit for this course should check with appropriate provincial authorities before enrolling. Every province has its own apprenticeship requirements in certain trade and technical areas. In a particular field, it may be necessary for the graduate to complete an apprenticeship before he/she is qualified to practice in their field.

eLearn Canada College advises all applicants and students that actual employment upon successful completion of any training course offered by eLearn Canada College will be dependent upon overall student application, presentation, initiative, and available employment opportunities. eLearn Canada College in no way guarantees employment upon successful completion of any training course offered by eLearn Canada College or otherwise.

Both eLearn Canada and eLearn Canada College are registered trade names of eLearn Canada College.
